William Francis Urell (1913?-1979?) was an American writer who began his career submitting stories to Collier's and The Novel Magazine. He wrote three novels set in Los Angeles featuring the tough womanising PI Anthony Martin. The first novel, Rough on Rats, featured an investigation into the blue movie industry.
