Cornelius Warren Grafton (1909-1982), American author of three mystery novels, and the father of the famous modern writer Sue Grafton.
Grafton was born in China, of missionary parents, and studied journalism and law. He practised law in Louisville, Kentucky, specialising in municipal bonds. His first two books are narrated by the detective-lawyer Gil Henry.
