Edith Meiser was an American writer and producer of radio programs, including the Sherlock Holmes hour. She sometimes used the pseudonym 'Xantippe'. More information can be found here.

Her one detective novel Death Catches Up with Mr Kluck is about a radio sponsor being murdered during 'his' hour and a good period piece about radio.
