Miller, Wade

Wade Miller was a pseudonym used by Robert Wade (1920-) and Bill Miller (1920-1961), US writers and collaborators since their schooldays. After Wade's death Miller continued to use the pseudonym Whit Masterson for his own work. They also wrote as Will Daemer, Whit Masterson and Dale Wilmer. Their series characters were Max Thursday and Lieutenant Clapp.

Bill Miller was born in Garrett Indiana and educated at San Diego State College California. He served in the US Air Force in the Pacific during WW2.

Robert Wade was born in San Diego California and also educated at San Diego State College. He served in the US Air Force in Europe during WW2.
