Player, Robert

Page history last edited by PBworks 18 years ago

Robert Player was a pseudonym for Robert Furneaux Jordan (1905-1978), a British writer from Birmingham. Jordan was educated at King Edward VII School, Birmingham; Birmingham School of Art, and the Architectural Association School, London. He married Eira Furneaux Jordan in 1965 and worked as an architect from 1928 to 1961, after which he became an academic and lecturer, writing many books on architecture.

The results of Player's mysteries are never predictable as he writes of a world that is often out of focus. -- Mary Groff.
