Sydney E PorcelainSydney E Porcelain was an American writer, screenwriter and actor. His series detective was Stephen Clay. Mabel Monahan was reading The Purple Pony Murders when she was killed by Barbara Graham in 1953. Graham went to the electric chair for the crime, which inspired the Susan Hayward film I Want To Live.
