Dr. Hailey solves a current murder and one committed in the past. Bizarre plot element in this one is the murder in the past. Villain realizes that the incriminating dagger used as a weapon in the first murder broke off in the body of the victim and goes to extreme lengths to recover the weapon inadvertantly creating another baffling puzzle for Hailey to solve.
Wynne is a master at coming up with these bizarre crimes. It's a shame his storytelling is so incredibly dry and humorless. (2008)
