Charles Williams (1909-1975) was an American pulp writer. He was born and educated in Texas and served in the US Merchant Marine from 1929-1939 as a radio operator. In 1939 he married Lasca Foster and became a land-based radio inspector until retiring to write full-time in 1950. His series character was PI John Ingram.
