Wills, Cecil M

Page history last edited by Ronald Smyth 3 years, 9 months ago Saved with comment

Maitland Cecil Melville Wills (1891-1966) was an English author whose series character was Inspector Geoffrey Boscobell. Boscobell resigned from the police force after his wife and child were abducted and disappeared. Later he became a PI. Other series detectives were Superintendent Roger Ellerdine and his Detective Sergeant “Cherry” Blossom. Wills's books are pedestrian two-man investigations in the tradition of George Bellairs.
