Charlie Christmas 'Christopher' Bush (1888-1973) was an English writer. He was born in East Anglia and educated at Thetford Grammar School in Norfolk, and King's College London. Bush worked as a teacher before becoming a full-time writer. He served in both World Wars, reaching the rank of Major.
Bush wrote sixty-three novels, all of which featured his series characters Ludovic Travers and Superintendent Wharton. UK editions precede the US and there are a couple of alternate titles. Bush also wrote mysteries under the pseudonyms Michael Home and Noel Barclay.
