Harrington, Joseph

Joseph Harrington (1903-??) was an American journalist and mystery writer. He was born in Newark, New Jersey.

 

His novels are essentially police procedurals in the Dragnet style: his protagonist, Sergeant Francis X. Kerrigan, is "no smarter than the reader, just a lot more dogged". He is assisted by detective Jane Boardman.
