Lewis, Lange

Lange Lewis was the pseudonym of Jane Lewis Brandt (1915-2003) a Los Angeles writer who married Mal Bissell, a writer of weird tales. She also wrote as Jane Beynon (Cypress Man, 1944), and under her own name produced a historical novel about Mexico, La Chingada. Her series detective was bulky Lieutenant Richard Tuck.
