Arthur J(ohn) Rees (1872-1942) was an Australian journalist and author. He was born in Melbourne and went to England in his early twenties. His proficiency as a writer of crime mystery stories is attested by Sayers, Dorothy L in the introduction to Great Short Stories of Detection, Mystery and Horror (1928).
