W(illiam) Stanley Sykes (1894-1961) was an English doctor and novelist. His detective stories are in the tradition of Freeman, R Austin in the use of medical and scientific detail. In two of his novels the detection is done by Inspector Drury of Scotland Yard, a former rugby player for England. "Certainly worth reading" (Binyon, TJ - Murder Will Out)
